Does the Shoe Fit? Chuang Tzu's Question for the Society
Abstract
This paper aims at exploring Chuang Tzu's concept of non-doing and its possible application to the field of pastoral theology, which seeks to address issues related to suffering and injustice. It raises questions pertaining normative morality, analyzes social categories, and proposes simplicity as a way of deaing with social issues in our society. Chuang Tzu offers an invitation to explore the depth of emptiness, the beauty of nothingness and its power for transformation.
